In 1961 Doris and Alfred Ramseier founded the training stable and commercial stable in Horgenberg, which is located near the lake of Zurich in Switzerland.
During the followed years they step by step developed a generous riding arrangement.
Alfred Ramseier was active in horse trading and as a horse expert. He dealt in highly qualified and trained horses and was well known in the international trading community.
Doris Ramseier trained the horses when they were ready for the sport. She showed the horses successfully in all categories in national and international tournaments including a silver medal at the 1976 Olympics, silver and bronze at the World Championship, 2xEM silver and 15 SM (Swiss Championship) medallions.
Their Son Daniel continued this tradition with even bigger success. As a highly gifted young rider he won the European Championship in 1984, won a silver at the 1988 Olympics, 2xWM bronze, 2xEM silver and 11xSM medallions. More about the familyhistory here.
